Founded in 2013 by two former Army Signal Corp Officers, N3 Government Solutions L.L.C is an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) focusing on Information Technology Support and Solution Development. As our name entails, we focus on providing service and support to the Government sector with a primary focus on Department of Defense Activities. Our goal as a company is to provide high quality low cost support to our Government partners. Where most companies compete by cutting employee salaries, our approach involves minimizing overhead costs through efficient and effective management thus creating a stable and highly talented employee base that you as the customer can count on.
Nicole Nelson, Founder and President
Nicole Nelson is the majority owner and a former U.S. Army Signal Corp Captain with over 5 year’s Active Duty experience and 10 year’s total Army experience. As a Soldier in the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at Fort Bragg, NC, Nicole served in various roles ranging from Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Company Commander, Battalion Communications Officer (S6), and finally Brigade Automations Officer. Nicole has managed multimillion dollar IT operations of various size, complexity and scope, and has lead more than 170 personnel supporting over 2,000 systems spread over 6 dispersed locations. With a Master’s of Science in Business Management and a Bachelors of Science in Government and Pre-Law both from Liberty University, Nicole understands the Government as well as Contract Law and has the skills and experience necessary to lead N3 Government Solutions to success in this sector.
Nicholas Nelson, Co-Founder and Vice President
Nicholas Nelson is the minority owner and also a former U.S. Army Signal Corp Officer with over 4 year’s Active Duty experience and over 15 year’s total Army experience. As a Soldier in the 18th Fires Brigade at Fort Bragg, NC, Nicholas served as the Battalion Communications Officer (S6) for 3-321 FAR, as the Special Programs and ACCM Officer in Charge (OIC) for the Multinational Division Baghdad (MND-B), and finally as the Brigade Automations Officer. After the Military, Nicholas began his career in Government contracting with Stanley Associates where as a Director and Program Manager he managed over 110 personnel and IT contracts valued over $40 Million dollars. Nicholas earned a Master’s of Science in Computer Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from Middle Tennessee State University. Partnered with various professional and technical certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Windows 7 Configuration, Nicholas has the knowledge and experience to create highly innovative technology solutions to support our customers.
